Blendics' high-performance Asynchronous Network-on-Chip (ANoC) technology promises to solve an emerging problem for System on Chip (SoC) designers caused by increased process variability. This technology has the potential to decrease design time, make products more reliable and reduce their cost.
Dr. Jerome R. Cox, President and co-Founder, commented, "As products move to nanoscale fabrication it becomes significantly more difficult to accurately model the behavior of the billions of transistors on a single chip. Our products address the two most frequently encountered problems with revolutionary solutions".
The award of $99,625 is an extension of the company's existing funding through the National Science Foundation.
